Hang Seng Bank transformed into a 3D urban oasis with an imaginative roof skylight, it provided a portal to connect nature and art day and night.

Through the Naked-eye 3D Art Simulation by using high end game engine technology,“ Skylight” will become one of the Hong Kong spotlight of creativity and tourist attractive.

People can watch the real-like nature scenes through the Skylight in the city. For instance, dolphin swimming in the Ocean, Paradise birds flying and singing in the Topical Forest etc. incorporated with abstract art sculptures animation, it brings immersive visual art gallery experience of the real and the surreal, Nature and Arts show.

Hang Seng’s Urban Skylight will be the first and unique Real-time virtual 3D art / nature immersive art piece for Hong Kong and the
world.

在香港尖沙咀最繁忙的地區,連接城市、自然和藝術， 恒生銀行外圍建構獨樹一幟的城市天窗， 3D自然綠洲，藝術家以虛擬3D技術，配合日夜的光影，將城市、自然、藝術連接起來。 大眾可通過 LED 屏幕的多面性，體驗到引人入勝的 3D 自 然藝術作品。3D的主題配合陽光的位置、反射和建築物的結構，創造出逼真的光影效果。

“天窗”將成為香港最具創意和旅遊吸引力的打卡點。 大眾可在鬧市中透過天窗一窺大自然景象，例如，海豚在 海洋中暢泳，天堂鳥兒在熱帶森林飛翔和歌唱等。並融入 抽象雕塑藝術動畫，帶來置身其中的視覺藝廊體驗，讓人
穿梭於真實與幻象、自然與藝術之間。

此外，虛擬遊戲程序可以連接到網上，讓觀眾在家中體驗此沉浸式的虛擬藝術作品。

The form of Wishing tree are inspired by the giant old Chinese Banyan Tree from Kowloon Park and around TST area, which has cultural, environmental and historical significant to the city.

兔年許願樹 為慶祝農曆新年，普通民眾每年都會舉行儀式，祈求來年好運、 健康和繁榮，因此, 恒生大廈將成為 香港首座虛擬巨型許願樹公 開展示, 建築立面變身為一棵巨大的虛擬許願樹。 | 許願樹的造型靈感來自九龍公園及尖沙咀一帶的巨型榕樹/古 樹，對這座城市具有重要的文化、環境和歷史意義, 有生生不息的寓意。 將傳統習俗、藝術和自然融入一個標誌性的地方。

The ROOM ‘Huetopia’ by Desmond Leung is art projection installation / colour altar honouring the earth, sky, spirit and constellation, presenting the ritual of the ever changing day and night time landscape by illuminating the spectum of light and darkness through colour and nature elements.

Artist attempted to create a Sacred Space through dynamic colour movement like a moving Veil Painting. This artwork inspired by the anthroposophic color therapy, emphasizing the creative forces of light and darkness in painting, which similar to the use of Yin Yan and the flow of forces (chi) in Chinese Ink Wash Painting, both artistically and therapeutically.

Artist believed that light, color and darkness, color movement has a therapeutic effect on the viewer as well as the painter, human being sensed spirit through light, space and movement, that we touch the soul / spiritual world through color, leads us to our cosmic imagination.

《Huetopia》 是香港藝術家梁嘉昊( 昊天) 創作的藝術投影裝置，呈現光與暗之間豐富的層次及幻變的晝夜景觀，得以創造詩意的色彩旅程，讚頌自然的壯麗。藝術家試圖通過動態的色彩運動來創造一個神聖的空間。這件作品的靈感來自中國潑墨畫中的氣韻及陰陽平衡，及人智學的色彩療法中光與暗的創造力量。藝術家希望此色彩旅程能引發大家對宇宙的無限想像。

The Bloom of Water Lilies is a newly commissioned interactive ink art installation by Hong Kong based artist Desmond Leung. The presentation interweaves traditional ink with contemporary digital technology, inviting the public to interact and create a continuum of shared mindful experiences.

Even as we are engulfed in the flux of the modern world, an era of shifts and changes, Leung reconsiders the spirit of ink art and the purpose of digital art in today’s society. The artist believes in the ability of art to transcend boundaries and reconnect people through the beauty and magic of the natural world.

The water lily is a symbol of inner peace, enlightenment, self-regeneration, rebirth and compassion in the midst of impermanence. Drawing on this motif, the installation consists of 12 digital display screens, arranged in the shape of the bloom. Set against a backdrop of a water lily pond, the installation enables the public to experience the life force and the rhyme of ink through virtual interactive art.

Their interactions will transform the on-screen imagery from bud to blossoming flower, developed from detailed drawings of water lilies by Leung and Carolyn Yim, student winner of the 2021 UOB Art in Ink Awards, who further refined her brush skills under Leung’s mentorship. The Bloom of Water Lilies enables mindful presence and observations of light and shadow over time.

Creating points of connection, the work represents the interconnectedness of all life forms, reminding us that in our essence, we humans are inextricably linked to each other and to Mother Nature. The Bloom of Water Lilies spreads messages of positivity and sustainability through a cultural lens, a reminder to bring beauty and kindness to every encounter.

Desmond Leung Kar Hao is a multi-media artist exploring the realms of vibration frequency, conscious awareness, and mindfulness through a diverse array of artistic mediums. With a focus on abstract painting, moving image, digital sculpture, and virtual technology, Leung Kar Hao has crafted a multidimensional art form that he defines as contemporary Holistic Art.
